Today its just about trying to get myself into a good mood. And to me personally, getting ones’ self into a better frame of mind and within a happier perspective is most definitely related to health, beauty and wellness.
AGING GRACEFULLY & BEAUTIFULLY & STYLISHLY. AND BEING MORE THAN OKAY WITH IT.
So onto the topic of aging. This subject is near and dear to me, only partially because it comes up in daily conversation with other women (and men) of all ages. Really, every single day. When you’re going though your own day, just see how often aging comes up. Wait till you pay attention to the frequency, it’s kind of shocking.
STRONGER, THICKER, LONGER & FASTER GROWING HAIR.
It's the bleach, I’m telling you. It fries the f*@k out of your hair and im convinced people like Gwen Stefani have ultra super powers or a supreme amount of hair extensions because she's been bleaching for decades and she still has these lustrous long tresses. Amazing. And also NOT realistic for us mere mortals walking around.
YOGA AT HOME. MOSTLY SEATED WITH MY EYES CLOSED. AND SOME CHANTING.
I wont lie to you, I am still a naturally stressful person. But I REALLY want to calm the eff down more often. So that's why this week I wanted to write about something I've been drawn to in the past, and again lately. Yoga. The only difference is, I started doing it at home.
INTERMITTENT FASTING & 5:2 / ABOUT 15 MONTHS & 50 POUNDS LATER.
During this time I would eat a lot of what are considered healthier and more balanced foods. I would say about 75% of my diet was healthier, and about 25% was gorgeously naughty food. I LOVE FOOD. The good, the bad, and the naughty ;) I still do, and I still indulge.

She was born before her time, doing things like legally changing her first name back in the 1950’s, just because she wanted to. She got up at 6am every single morning to meditate, which I thought was so odd back as a kid in the eighties. She was a prolific painter, a nature enthusiast, a woman who loved to watch episodes of Golden Girls while doing craft projects with her grandkids, and she was a woman who was such a wonderful and unforgettable inspiration to me.
